I had high hopes for this product after seeing its star rating. It looked solid when it was delivered and the Swiss flag logo was prominent (only to find out it was made in China) and broken. After checking for boiling, the top lid no longer opened. There is a button inside to release the PLASTIC latch but it does nothing. You couldn't open it with your fingers, so the only thing you can rely on is a faulty button to change your mind. I only had it one day and decided to return it. That's already causing me problems on Day01. There is a clear design flaw on the latches. I'd rather buy ones where you can pry the lid open with your fingers at the tiny spot where the spout is.
