Review on Tormek TTS 100 Sharpening Setter: Enhancing Precision and Efficiency by Jared Tovar

Bought this along with several Tormek attachments to try out the WEN 4270 10 inch sharpener. After getting a new lathe and a new set of turning tools, I can't justify paying the same amount for a no-template grinder motor. Many thanks to Tormek for creating this template to take the guesswork out of setting up a tool holder. and distance from the stone. There are no instructions, but it seems pretty easy. Unfortunately the WEN handguard has to be in a different vertical position than the Tormek because I couldn't get it to work. I've tried every combination of protrusion and clearance with the SVS-50 tool holder. The attached picture shows a combination. I know it doesn't fit the SVS-50, but it didn't either. The quality is excellent, as are the memory magnets, but the price is ridiculous.
