Review on Dickies Classic Flat Front Pant for Little Boys by Craig Kumar

This size is a big problem when buying trousers online or for children. My son is thin and bar-shaped with no hips. The Dickies website tells you how to measure and I downloaded a boys size chart. I measured his waist with my vinyl tape and it came out exactly 20 inches and the chart says it's a size 5. I knew that couldn't be true, he can't even wear another brand's 4S which are now short at the inseam. So I still order 5S because I don't have much choice. I take 3 pairs and they are huge, they don't hold anything. I pin my waist on each side and measure the difference and I only had to take 3 inches to stretch the elastic a bit. Update: I bought the 6S just to test and when I got them they were a lot smaller. This confirms that the original 5S pants were not manufactured correctly, I paid to have them altered at my own expense and now that I understand Dickies is telling me I cannot return them. It's not my fault your third world production screwed up Dickie. I give your pants 1 star. That's another thing I didn't notice, the entire back waist band is elastic and not adjustable. My son is 20" at the waist, I order the 5S which Dickies says is 18", I had to lift him 3" for him to exit. At least the price is reasonable, I can reasonably justify the cost of rework.
