Dickies Classic Flat Front Pant for Little Boys Review

This item was not described well. If I'm buying it for a 10 year old boy and it probably fits an 18 year old boy, the description is wrong, I got $8 for shipping. Didn't realize shipping wasn't included so by the time I'm done I'll have $24. Shipping a pair of $17 pants makes no sense. I think it's a shame for me. I really didn't consider all the details. I will stick to it and maybe still be popular in 10 years, my boy might suit them

My 8 year old son is skinny and usually wears size 10 pants with enough room. they sat on him like they were made for a six year old - I had to take them off immediately because I couldn't take how tight they were on his tiny butt! My 10 year old son is tall and slim. Since he is tall for his age, I ordered him a size 12. The length was perfect but the waist was almost three inches too small! The proportions of these pants are PERFECT. However, these are thick, well-tailored pants. I return them and order a size 14 (ridiculous considering he's a size 10 and so skinny) but even these pants are too big.

Great durable pants! They look sharp without looking boring. That's my review. My boys love them and they survive their rough home.

These pants are slightly smaller/tighter than actual size. They're also a firmer material and don't soften that much with washing.

I can't comment on factors other than size. I was very upset when I received them and my son tried them on and found they fit well around the waist but were about 4 inches shorter. Unusually short, so much so I thought he might have gone for the classic size 7 which I bought for my 7 year old. I held 14 against 7 (which on the contrary seemed very long) and they were the SAME LENGTH. The search for pants continues.

Except for the strong weird smell that a good wash will get rid of. This is the third time I've been ordering these for my boys and they definitely stand the test of time during the school year with the constant banging on the knees of their pants with the reinforcement these bibs have. I hate the warehouse stinky smell but otherwise great quality. I've tried many uniform pants in the past but nothing compares to my little monkeys.

Well made but my baby was very skinny so maybe that's why he fits tall ones but he will grow up in them and they will fit well if he does I'm sure

Great pants, fits a 6 year old boy. I would give them more stars for DURABILITY but the knees are so stiff that they rub and irritate the knees when playing. At least they last, right?!?

Beautiful and durable. I love double knees. My son wears his uniform pants heavily and knees seem to go out first. Good quality. Fast delivery.

Bought a size 14 thinking it would be too big and would need a belt. he couldn't even close them. Normally wears a size 12, ended up ordering a size 18. They are part of his school uniform and he started using them today. Had to run and buy another pair until they process the return. Be sure to order a size or two larger.

These pants are fine. I'm not sure I would buy them again. They are very cool and a bit big. I like the double reinforcement of the knees, because my son's school trousers usually rip. I would buy them again if the price is right.

Our son is very active and just does what he wants. This pair outlived other more expensive pants he owns. Will buy again for future uniform needs.

What I liked best was that they arrived on time, looked exactly as described and the price was great. The only thing I don't like is that I couldn't find more in this price, size or quantity. Please notify me when they become available again in this price, size and color.

My teenage son wears them every day as his school uniform. I love these pants! They wash well and are virtually wrinkle-free when line dried or tumble dried. Very well done. He wore cocks for many years and has never pierced any of them. Highly recommended.

This size is a big problem when buying trousers online or for children. My son is thin and bar-shaped with no hips. The Dickies website tells you how to measure and I downloaded a boys size chart. I measured his waist with my vinyl tape and it came out exactly 20 inches and the chart says it's a size 5. I knew that couldn't be true, he can't even wear another brand's 4S which are now short at the inseam. So I still order 5S because I don't have much choice. I take 3 pairs and they are huge…

I love the durability of Dickies but these are really big. Next year it fits in, I keep it. I bought a size 8 for my 8 year old who has outgrown all his size 7s. The Gymborees I bought with them fit him as expected but the Dickies were much larger. I know they come in different sizes depending on the brand so I know for future purchases.

It's not the seller's fault, it's the woman's fault. She just thought bigger pants would be fine as our kids are growing fast. No, 20 was too big.

Great price for a good pair of Dickies pants. They fit my son well and look very nice. Too bad he's already destroyed a few.
