Plastic is stronger than OEM but that's maybe the only plus. less clip space - seems tight but I'm halfway through an interior restoration so won't know if it rattles for a while. The vents are completely loose - tiny strips of black tape were used to hold them in place, but I doubt it will last long. The hole for the light switch is completely covered, I guess I can think of something else to hide it. The fit at some of the other holes is minor, but it will pass if you don't look too closely. It's only an improvement because my original was bad after 22 years and it might last until I find something better - the only reason I would recommend it
