Does what it's supposed to do

Yes, there is only one downside. The device does not fit snugly in the adapter. You need to pay attention and make sure the device is inserted and charging. Maybe it's an all-metal design or the pins need to be a bit bigger. I suspect the positives are that the device isn't so tight that pliers are needed to remove it. Get it today.
