It works but there is a lot of background noise and the sound quality with my speakers is not very good. I have to adjust my EQ and I have to turn them down because they rattle a lot. The sound quality decreases greatly! You can't use bass. I've read that the background noise is electromagnetic and the longer the cable the better. GET THE CABLE LONGER! I have a 6ft cord but honestly it needs to be longer for noise cancellation. I really don't know how to rate it and if there is a better quality cable out there.
