Review on 🔌 Renogy 12V Waterproof Charger: 10W Solar Panel Kit for Automatic Gate Opener Systems with Tubular Mount Bracket and Tool Kit by Mike Roe

I have purchased the panel, bracket and extension cords to be ready for installation once all the parts are available. Everything appears to be well made and of good quality. However, if you're expecting MC4 connections on the panel like I am, based on Q&A showing panels not having MC4 connections after February 2017, don't believe this. It's July 2020 and my cables are exposed. No MC4 connections, no alligator clips, no connections whatsoever. Had I known this I would have bought a crimping tool and MC4 connectors and be ready to leave or find another panel with the connectors already in place. Now I have to send the extension cords back as I went the other way for the wiring with stuff I could get locally (and another run to the hardware store is DISAPPOINTING!). Not as clean a setup as I would have liked, but I had this project to complete and there were nowhere to buy MC4 connectors in local stores. I contacted RenogySolarUS and didn't really get anywhere, so I'm not sure how good the customer service would be if there were any major issues or issues in the future. So if you don't mind running around and changing your plans at the last minute. To complete the project all the parts I received seemed to be of very high quality, it's a shame I couldn't use them all and now I have to go back to the UPS store to collect the unusable items return.
