Can't get over the vacuum cleaner bags for old Kenmore canisters, but it has to be mentioned that where the bag is glued to the cardboard it tends to come loose easily. I usually just dab some contact cement on all of them as soon as I open the plastic bag (I bought a bundle) so I tape them together to avoid hassle. As for the actual packaging material, it's pretty good and pretty effective. I use my old Kenmore garbage can I found in the trash in the 80's for drywall sanding, wood sanding, painting, etc. I use a random orbital rig and connect the sander's exhaust to a vacuum hose , many vacuum hoses . are connected, throw the vacuum cleaner in front of the window or door. If fine dust gets into the bag, it ends up on the outside and not on the entire inside. Surprisingly, these bags don't let too much fine dust through. 220 sandpaper on pine moldings and windows (last project) and no dust in the vacuum.
