Instructions do not match product but who needs instructions? There is no eject button as stated in the instructions. There is no manual extraction mechanism in case of error. The cable is permanently fixed, crooked, so if it gets damaged, so be it. The case is made of thin plastic and only vaguely resembles the image in the advertisement. The fit is poor, it has gaps and mold lines. No LEDs or other read/write indicators that I can find. or they don't work. Read? Yes it seems to work. It's super crappy quality and unlikely to last long if kept in a laptop bag or something. I expect this to fail and don't rely on it AT ALL in a business setting.
