Review on πŸ”§ Fram FV408 PCV Valve: Optimize Engine Performance with Positive Crankcase Ventilation by Tyler Kota

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good price! Fits tight but problem solved.

My idle was higher than usual, rough idle and some oil got on the spark plugs. When I checked for a vacuum leak, I found that my PCV valve was making a wet or soft sound rather than a hard click, which would explain oil getting into the intake. The item fitted my 4.7 liter Dodge Ram almost perfectly. It was a bit tight compared to the old one, but I forced it into place. It is located on the side of the oil tank cap. Other replacement parts were at least $10 more expensive, so even if they don't last 90,000 miles (like the original Mopar), it's still a good value.
