Had to return my laptop and got an office desktop due to cpu/memory issues. So you need a webcam. I had such high hopes that this webcam would work. Well it was, but then it wasn't. Here are the details. For reference, I used this camera with GotoMeeting, MS Teams, Zoom on a PC running Windows 10. I'm building a PC and making sure that desktop has the latest hardware and 64GB of RAM. Windows is updated every week by our IT staff, so I'm pretty sure the drivers are the latest and greatest. What is good? I love the fact that it has a mic so it definitely saved me from buying another mic! I can't imagine using one of those 90's stick mics! The picture quality is pretty good and people have praised it in my meetings. When I use the camera and mic separately from the beginning to the end of the call, which is NOT good, this mic doesn't like the mute button. In the middle of a conversation, when I try to unmute and talk, people can't hear me! The only way to fix the problem is to unplug it and then plug it back in. Then this "somehow" works. But imagine this happening during an important call! He doesn't like when the video starts and stops. Either you leave it on or you leave it off. If you try to turn it off halfway, both picture and sound will be lost. What did I do to fix it? I tried updating the driver. I switched to other USB 3 ports. I uninstalled - rebooted. The microphone works, but the question is why should I do that? Shouldn't that work for plug-n-play?
