We had an earlier style of this air vent phone holder but needed a different one for a different car. I decided to try this updated version similar to the one we had. I like it when the back button is triggered to close the arms. The phone feels secure. The only mistake was when I lowered the legs further than necessary and the button went right into the indentation of my fingerprint reader! I just had to lift my legs high enough for the button to press against my hard back. Problem solved! The connection points (side arms and legs) are padded to give you a better grip on your phone. The release levers are easy to use and your hand is always there to grab the phone when released. Judging by the photos, I was concerned that they would stick out too much and get in the way, but I don't find that to be the case when using it. I do notice that the hands sometimes "vibrate" when moving around without the phone in the holder, but that's not too bad, and it certainly isn't usually empty. The swivel makes it easy to position the holder so you can see your phone, but it stays in place once placed. The lever protruding from the ventilation part is adjusted by loosening or tightening the nut. It hooks onto a wing in the vent and is easily adjustable. The 3-point mounting design ensures the stability of the device. I had to reposition the vent to get a foot out of the radio button, but that depends more on how the Accord's dashboard is designed. This bracket is closer to the right turn signal arm (than on my Civic) but there is enough clearance for the signal to work safely. Again, it's more of a dashboard design issue - it's closer to the driver than on our Civic. I think I would have the same situation with every holder I've tried. I love the changes that have been made to the design of this phone holder and am happy with my choice.
