Exactly what the doctor ordered.

I'm doing some guitar modifications like changing pickups and I need a very fine fluxed solder for the core and that's what the doctor ordered. Because it's so thin, it's a small package with lots of solder. I usually like to use the flux as a separate component when soldering wires. I dip it in flux and then solder it, but with the guitar components, which is tantamount to sloppy work. Connecting the ground to the back of the potentiometer or even connecting the sensor wires to the spade terminals is very clean and efficient. I've always used core solder for this type of work, but it's a little thinner than what I'm used to. No problem, with its thinness it melts and feeds at a good speed, providing me with all the solder I need.

Pros
  • Solder and Flux
Cons
  • Expensive
