I ran out of solder and needed a spare spool to complete the project. For soldering small PCBs it is best to use small gauge solder < 1mm, so I would recommend the largest gauge. It was a good product at a low price/performance ratio.

This works fine and I had no problem resoldering some of the wires on the (used) 15 pin connector. The solder tended to stick together at lower temperatures (or directly when touching a cold wire), but increasing the temperature of my soldering iron from 300C to 325C helped. I have used this 0.8mm solder roll on several smart home sensor mounting projects. It worked well, doing its job just as well as my better known branded versions of a similar build.
