Review on πŸ“ Stanley 33-726 26' 4" Fractional Measuring Tape by William Dean

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Disappointed 3 months at

One star deducted for the lock: I have heard so many good things about this measuring tape. I was sure I was getting a quality instrument. The lock is so weak. It barely holds the band no matter how hard you squeeze it, it doesn't stay locked for more than a few seconds, and if you need to move in any direction the band retracts back into the case. I take other employees for the overall quality of the product. If you stretch the band a few feet, say 7-8 feet, the band will not retract on its own, you will have to push it by hand until you reach about 3 feet, at which point it will retract on its own own withdraws. Worst roulette I've ever had. I had cheap nameless tapes that worked much better. I will never buy a Fatmax again.

Pros
  • Robust shockproof case with non-slip Fatmax measuring tape suitable for construction sites
Cons
  • Short instructions
