The best part is they get enough light to work for a little while. A lot of solar lights don't have enough solar panel to fully charge the battery in less than ideal conditions. These seem to have more than average, but they're not perfect. In winter PNW weather, they go off about 2 hours after dark.My advice when buying solar lights: If they are not in full sunlight all day long you won't get good performance. Consider buying wired lights even though they are a lot more expensive, require wiring and digging.
