Overall it’s a nice desk, I’m a more than a bit miffed that the price dropped $30 a week and a half later after I bought it. The desk was easy to put together, the instructions are easy to follow. All the parts and hardware were there, some of the pieces, particularly the sides looked a like they were slapped together during manufacturing. But the main part of the desk seems to be sturdy.The drawers on the other hand, do not seem sturdy whatsoever. There’s a thin piece, what I’d compare to cardboard, is slid in for the bottom. There’s no support brace underneath, so I imagine you can’t put anything with much weight into the drawers. I might have rig up something so my daughter can put more than a pen and a couple of paper clips into the drawers. Stickers are what was included to cover the screws, white plastic plugs would have been better.It’s a fine desk and will work, there could have been simple additions to make the drawers more sturdy and simple plugs to add to the aesthetic. For the price, I wouldn’t expect these kind of shortcuts. My daughter really loved this desk and she’s really happy about it, I think I would have kept looking for something with higher quality though.
