Remote broke the 3rd time I used it

Really liked these lights. Not hard to put up and they looked great on the umbrella. Tried to use the remote last night and it turned on the lights and stopped working. Bought a new battery. Still nothing. And since the lights can't be tuned off with the remote I now have to climb up and remove a battery to get them to turn off. Huge bummer.

Pros

Wife loves them a little tricky to install but worth it.

Cons

Chinese junk defective out of the box.
