ATTENTION TO THE BUYER! for marking and search tools

These pens ruined a whole piece of Aida Chicken wire is time consuming, so I decided to try cloth pens. I was skeptical but the ratings and reviews were good so I bought it. I tested them on scrap pieces first and the dots seemed to disappear as I ironed them. Relax! At least that's what I thought. It was only after painting the entire Aida sheet that I noticed faint spots on the test patterns. I stroked her again, but to no avail. To make matters worse, some of the dots turned brown! Almost like little burn marks. But neither the cloth nor the ink was wet. I tossed all of the fabric in the washing machine and washed it with Tide but the dots are still faint on all of them. I'm at a loss as to how to remove this substance. Luckily Aida isn't expensive and I can use the broken piece for a future full coverage project. For my current project, I bought a well-known brand water-soluble pen from my favorite embroidery site. Wipe it with water and it will go away. So far, so good!

Cons
  • Doubtful
