If it were for how much I like this little shelf, it would be five stars. I gave up Star for two reasons. First, directions aren't directions. There are three pictures. I'm a very smart person and it would have been done in 15-20 minutes but I had to undo the screws twice and repeat one of the tasks. The images leave it up to you to decide what order you do things in. Second, I can't call it strong. It feels sturdy on its own, but overall it's a pretty lightweight piece. The color of the wood is beautiful and looks valuable. I haven't had any issues with mismatched parts or anything like that. Everything was in stock and I am very satisfied. For this price I didn't expect it to be as beautiful and durable as it really is. When in doubt, I'd say just do it.
