Worked great on a 2002 Toyota 4Runner

I have successfully installed this on my 2002 Toyota 4Runner Limited. Installation was difficult as part of the old antenna was corroded and stuck in a tube attached to the engine. I ended up disassembling the motor and tube and using a long drill bit, knocked out a rusted piece of antenna. After cleaning the pipe and reinstalling the motor on the car, I connected the antenna mast from the top and it worked great. I made sure to coat the antenna with silicone grease when fully extended to prevent future internal corrosion. Just make sure your wife doesn't leave the radio on while you go to the car wash :)
