I don't make candles so to speak but bring candles back to life which are at the end of their natural life. We all know that not all candles burn before the wick is gone. what to do, throw away I start with a glass candle. Burn until the wick is gone but some wax remains. Then I put a new pillar candle in a glass and let it sink in. Again, not all are used. I repeat this for several candles until the jar is full of wax again. Then I take any "twist drill" and drill a hole in the bottom of the glass with my fingers. It requires no effort and is quite simple. Just make sure the drill bit is at least the size of the wick and turn it clockwise. It doesn't matter if the drill is larger than the wick as the wax will melt and fill the gap as soon as you light your 'new' candle. This will save you a lot of money in a short time to buy new candles when you have a lot of free wax that is mostly thrown away. Instead of one wick in the middle, drill three holes on the outside diameter and use three wicks. This will burn more evenly and give off a lot more light.
