Installing the driver was a lot of work. I wouldn't recommend this to someone used to plug and play. And I still can't find a manual that describes what the different scanner settings do. It's not in the online documentation. However, it is a good and fast scanner. If you scan a lot, you'll also need Adobe Acrobat DC, as it sometimes randomly flips images upside down and sideways. This is easy enough to fix in Acrobat. Create a file from individual images, then edit them with Organize Pages. If you need something to scan randomly, buy something easier to use.
