Review on 3M 39004 Super Rubbing Compound by Shawn Trotter

I have an old 96 foot BMW 328i that I am reconditioning and the paint is in very bad condition. I sanded first with 1200 grit paper, then buffered and applied 3M Heavy Duty Compound and I couldn't believe it. The paint looked brand new and was dying to polish it to a nice shine. Highly recommended for anyone with heavily worn paintwork. In the picture you can see the top of the car where I didn't apply or buffer the 3M compound. The bottom looked the same as the top, everything is clearly scratched and now it looks like a whole new coat of paint. Just be careful and cover and cut off the parts you don't want to polish, such as: B. door handles or side rails. I used blue masking tape; worked fine. PS This material smells very toxic, some kind of mask is ideal if you work with it for several hours.
