Review on Enhanced Performance Flowmaster 2049170 Catalytic Converter by Peter Sullivan

The pipe and converter fit well except for the secondary converter rod mount which goes to the gearbox mount as for some reason it was pointed the wrong side. So we cut it down and welded it back in place which was easy to do. Not sure why that is, but when searching for the trim, some places said it would fit a 2000-2006 TJ Wrangler, while FlowMaster listed a 2004-2006 model. Apart from this small adjustment, everything fit perfectly. Cost wise it was a lot cheaper than OEM or other brands I looked at, OEM was $1200 without a converter, most other brands were $700-800 so it was a lot cheaper including the Purchase of new distributor screws and labor costs. This should also be the last time I change it as the original on my 2000 Wrangler TJ lasted 20 years before it rusted in the welds on two of the header converters and I expect this one to last just as long. .
