Easy to install replacement parts

Works great and easy to install. This is an OEM replacement as Denso manufactured the original part. Matched to a 2000 Toyota 3.4L DLX manual California emissions. The part comes with the required gasket and the cable is slightly longer than the original part, making installation a little easier. I don't work on my car very often and the thought of doing this job bothered me, but I was glad I went through with it to save about $250 over what the mechanic said. Installation: No special key required. A standard 12mm socket was required (no deep socket required) with a 1/4" drive. I was concerned that the nuts were difficult to remove because they hadn't been touched in 16 years and looked badly rusted. Sprayed some liquid with a wrench and waited about 30 minutes. The nuts came off very easily with a very small 1/4" head. The hardest part was unplugging the wire from the old sensor. It's connected to the car above the transmission where you can't see it. The connector has one Locks with one button and requires two hands to disengage. The solution is to position your body under the gearbox, walk towards the engine and feel towards the tailgate.Grasp the gearbox with both hands to gain access to the Fork to obtain. A small mirror was handy to see. I've read that accessing this connector from the cockpit through the gear selector hole was the best way to get there, but I wouldn't recommend it. I have parts of the inner ones Removed gear selector cover (easy, just a few Phillips screws) and it helped to see the connector, but the hole was too small and awkward to use.
