This mobile base is very well made and far outperforms most cheap ones available (for almost the same price). All three wheels lock well and I had no trouble moving it while in use. It's even fully assembled and ready to go. It wasn't until the three of us pressed a jointer against it that I discovered the problem that prompted me to remove the sprocket - my Powermatic 60B won't fit on it. I think it was pretty generous of me to downgrade it just one star, but I knew Revane would take it if I wanted to return it (which I didn't, knowing I wasn't going to get it as well ) and a quick fix was pretty easy. To save others the hassle, here's what I found out: While my 60B (Taiwan mfg) is only a few years old, it's the type that has a black stripe at the very bottom (on a 3" high flared skirt ). These models are about 1" lower (front to back) than the new models. If you look at the new 60C and 60HH versions, you can see a black stripe above the petticoat on the main body. I think Powermatic might have already once made 60B of this style so Revain says it will fit 60B.Powermatic only refers to 60HH and 60C models with this base.My old 60B has the same sweep in front but is about 16" deep left and far right. This mobile base is 15" wide at these points. As a solution, I simply filled the base with some blocks of wood. and sat the jointer on top (using bolts to attach the jointer to the tree). Honestly works great and I may never get around my constant plan to cut off the rectangular tubes on the side and weld in new, longer ones.
