I got these because I like using big ice cubes, both the spheres and the cubes for my drinks. The larger ice works better and looks cooler for your standard drink. This set made it easy to make either shape of ice in just the right size. The ice fits great in your standard drink glass, and the ice lasts a long time, usually through two or three drinks. The sphere shape is a little trickier to make, but that's pretty normal. The cubes work like a regular ice tray. Both are easy to remove and not problem to refill. I've used the ice a number of times and would highly recommend.
