Review on THULE KONIG CG 9 Snow Chains by Paul Williams

They were very easy to install. After riding for a while I found that I could tighten them up a bit (using a link instead of a red hook) and that would greatly reduce road noise. I drove about 165 miles around Yosemite on roads that were mostly dry. This consumed most of the life of the chains. I'll probably keep them for emergencies, but I won't be able to take them to Yosemite. This is the first chain set I've ever bought. Maybe my expectations were wrong, but I expected to be able to use it more than once. I have a 2010 Subaru Outback. I thought the car handled those chains pretty well.
