I bought this to store memory cards for my cameras. It works well for that, and the case is thin enough to easily fit in my camera bag. The slots are a bit narrow but that suits me as it keeps the cards from slipping out of their slots. To remove them, I simply press down on the floor to release them enough for me to grab the card and pull it all the way out. Since the holders are plastic, I insert the cards into the slots very carefully to avoid tearing them. I haven't had any problems with slots breaking, but I can see it happening if I'm less careful. Overall this is a good case and works well for organizing and keeping my memory cards safe in my camera bag so they don't rattle loose.
