So far the best I've tried that doesn't sacrifice too much. If size isn't an issue, I'd say the Manfrotto 502ah is a better option for the same price. If you're looking for the smallest, lightest head with most of the same features and near-identical resistance, then this is it. You buy this head for its portability. Anything below that like Manfrotto befree is rubbish, anything above that you should use a proper fluid head like Manfrotto Nitrotech or Satchler. Incidentally, the Panasonic S1 at 24-105 is almost at the limit when using this head when properly balanced. Everything else you should look elsewhere.
