This product has not yet been fully designed. If you have carved deep keyholes in a piece of wood then that should be great. However, I have used keyhole photo frame mounts and lowered them before sliding them over the mount. A free measurement wouldn't do me any good, so I used tape and small screws to mark where to drill instead. Luckily I tried one before opening another set (I hung a large painting on a sloping wall) so I can give one away and maybe it will come in handy on another project in the future.
