I saw some bad reviews on this product in another listing. I decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did. There are no instructions in the kit, I figured it out myself by playing around with it for a minute. You unscrew the base where the cable goes in, then slide the cable through to adjust the length, then tighten the base and pull what secures it. The first photo shows the base slightly unscrewed/loosened. In the second photo it fits snugly (flush with the body). The quality looks very good. The cable has a clear plastic jacket, the spring-loaded hook ends look nice and hold up well, and the included wall hook keeps the cable straight and secure to prevent it from moving (which also makes it difficult to adjust to ensure it stays in place).
