Disclaimer: I've only had this 1 day. But so far I'm very happy with this water bottle. The reviews here are very mixed. Many complain about the filter change. I don't know what was changed, but I got a bottle with a filter that fits between the bottle and the cap. It only snaps into place when the cap is screwed on. You can fill the filter bottle in place as there are gaps on the sides that allow water to flow past the filter and into the bottle. I used it for about 40 ounces of water (2 fills). Water tastes better than unfiltered water. So it looks like charcoal will work. We have horrible tap water so it's fine but that got rid of the chlorine smell. Good. squeeze bottle. When you turn the bottle upside down, very little water comes out unless you press on it. But it works fine. Some people complain about leaks. The day I had it I didn't have this problem. So I can't tell if it's leaking or not when in use. But I filled it in, put a cork on it, and it doesn't flow. I was able to get hold of blue on offer. It was a very reasonable price as refillable plastic bottles can cost three times as much and don't have a filter. The filters also look reasonable for the price. I will review them after my first one is no longer effective or after 3 months. Whatever happened before. So far I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend it. If anything changes in the future I will update this review.
