This tool makes it easier to wind belts. However, it has some disadvantages: 1. There are no washers on the handle to limit movement from side to side, axial play of the crank, it wobbles and creaks a lot because it has no bearings. 2 would be nice if it had a pre-cut area for the tension nut to keep the set screw from cutting into the spot reflectors. 3 When wrapping the webbing at the back, the metal edge will cut into the webbing, if it were slightly rounded it would be more comfortable for the webbing in either direction. With all said and done, this simple cheap tool does the job, just consider my observations 1-3. You can make a simple piece of rubber to cover the dot decals and add your own shims to limit end play. and a piece of tape can cover the edges on the back.
