I love this microscope! I love the compactness and portability! I am a scientist who fell in love with this subject as a child because I had access to scientific equipment (I was homeschooled and my father was a science teacher) so I bought this microscope with the intention of introducing my nieces and nephews to it close. science at a young age. This model is small but not too small for an adult. The material seems durable and easy to work with - I doubt even small children can easily break it. I love that it's battery powered - now we can take our lab with us anywhere! My favorite part of the microscope is the high quality of the images. I literally gasped when I finally got my pattern (a strand of hair) in focus on the first try. I could see the tiniest features of my single strand of hair at such high resolution that I couldn't look away. I'm excited about the kind of experiments I can do on my own and the ones I can design for and with the young people in my family! I had experience with microscopes and the instructions were still a bit confusing. I would recommend that the company post a microscope tutorial or watch the buyer on YouTube. Otherwise, I believe that the machine can be mastered quite quickly. I am grateful that there is a quality tool on the market that is portable and easy to use for both adults and children. I look forward to using this for many years to come.
