Waiting to use the equipment

I was so excited to get the package in the mail. My husband openned the box the other day to put it together and found the piece in the picture was bent and unsoldered. The company has contacted us. I have yet to use it. Waiting to see how we can resolve it. The piece came to us unsoldered.
