Review on Wooden Puzzle Orrery Hands by ROKR by Gordo Prince

I got "Starry Night" because I'm interested in astronomy. I've had this on my wish list for a while so decided to give it a try when it was discounted on Prime Day. It should look and function like a small planetary ship as the planets revolve around the sun. It took me two evenings to complete and I must say I am very impressed with this jukebox project. The instructions are incredibly well written for this type of kit, the diagrams are accurate and if you follow the instructions step by step and pay attention to the diagrams you won't go wrong with the assembly. They even stop you at some point and remind you to check the build as this is the point after which the errors are hard to analyze and fix. The wooden parts are easy to pierce, they are easy to identify and there are even additional parts that are particularly prone to breakage. I had to use a few extra parts so I appreciated that. They even include smart measuring tools to ensure all gears are in the right place to mesh properly in the finished project. Literally everything you need is included so you don't have to buy anything from home. Everything fits together so well that you need to bring some pieces together a bit before they snap together. This is great because no glue is needed and it's still pretty strong despite not being glued. The gears work fine, but you have to wind the music box all the way up for it to start. When it works and the planets revolve around it, it looks really beautiful. The color of laser cut wood is very attractive in itself and does not require an additional coat of paint to make it look beautiful. The only thing I didn't particularly like about this music box was the song selection. this particular one would be better with a space/moon oriented song. I'm still amazed at the choice of Cats' Memories. Not a bad song, just out of place in this context. Conclusion? I would buy another set from this company. This is a quality product for what I paid and I am very happy with the ease of assembly and the quality of the parts. It will be a good gift for a seamstress who likes to make something with her own hands.
