Review on DIYASY Palettes Plastic Watercolor Painting by Dale Reichmann

Disappointing Quality in Budget Palettes

My analysis of this Arts and Crafts product showed that it lacked the quality one would expect in a watercolor palette. While the price point may be attractive, the plastic material feels flimsy and ONE of the wells actually cracked during my first use. On the plus side, the size is convenient for travel and the color layout is intuitive. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this budget option for serious artists or anyone looking for sturdy long-lasting supplies..

Pros
  • Convenient and portable for on-the-go painting
Cons
  • Less durable than metal palettes, and may crack or break if dropped or mishandled
