You work where others don't!

I was pessimistic about these beer carbonation stoppers but they work! Well, they keep for about three to four days, which is great for keeping the stouts warm. Lately I've been drinking porters and stouts, with some stouts only available in 22oz. and sizes 750 ml. Since I like to drink two different beers at the same time, I have to save myself half of the larger bottle. Sometimes it's like, "What the heck, empty that big bottle." With other corks I've tried, the beer stayed sparkling until the next day. Thanks to Brew Stoppers I have more time in the fridge and can try different stouts and porters in the following days. The difference may be the oversized head, which allows me to really tighten it for a snug fit. Three days later the stout is still fizzy. The lid always comes off easily with a bang and a whistle. These types of stoppers will not work if the bottle is less than half full. My guess is that the liquid releases its carbonation into the air space above rather than keeping it in the liquid. A type of pressure balance studied by college physicists years ago. If I ever lose everything I will buy them again.
