Used these to secure kayaks on an outdoor rack, and to secure a ramp in my truck that I use for transporting my eBikes. The strapping material appears to be best for light to medium duty tasks and worked very well for my applications.The ratchet mechanism seems well built and worked great. I've had some from other suppliers in the past that wouldn't release the strap in the unlocked position without a lot of manipulation, but these worked just fine.My last set from a different supplier (blue one in the photo) was a little heavier-duty, but I hated that the s-hook was designed to be more "open" and resulted in it falling out of the tie-down point more times than not before I was able to get the other end of the strap secured. This set (orange in the photos) has a MUCH more closed s-loop design and catches the tiedown points very well.Lastly, the very nice fabric storage bag really helped organize my truck. I'm definitely using this, instead of throwing the straps on the floor behind the driver's seat when I'm done using them.
