Review on πŸ“Έ Yosoo Aluminum Alloy Folding Z Flex Tilt Head Camera Bracket: Ultimate Tripod Ball Head for Canon Nikon Sony Cameras by Adam Aponte

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Usable but not perfect

I bought this as an alternative to my ball head to use with my flat mount (homemade platypod version). It seemed great right away. I use a Nikon D3400 with a 75-300 lens. After installing it on the plate and camera, I moved it to several stretched positions. It still seemed great. Then I removed the camera and found the first mistake. The 1/4 inch screw for the camera has been loosened. I was able to fix it by unscrewing it from the wheel it was on, applying superglue to some of the bottom threads and screwing it back in (this requires a different size Allen wrench than the one provided). The second problem was noticed when I took it out to take a picture. I had the same problem as many other customers - the screws in the arms came loose and were difficult to install. Tightening the bolts helps, but you need to find the right tightness to get the flexibility. Overall it's comfortable, but less than I was hoping for. I will keep it in my camera and still find a use for it.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged
