Works well when tightened

Yosoo Aluminum Alloy Folding Z Flex works well for the most part but you must have a key tool with this item to make it work as it's supposed to . I usually have to tighten it at least half a dozen times within a few days of use. When tightened, it can securely hold a smaller camera with a lighter, lower profile lens. I wouldn't trust this in all situations, but it works for the right task.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it everything is fine

Great for point and shoot copiers

This is a great product as a macro stand for point and shoot cameras. Ignore the "quick release" and "ball head" claims, but that's great publicity! I raise the top plate until it's vertical and point the camera down. That's just the right height for the camera! My soap dish weighs only 5 ounces. The stand is heavy enough that it doesn't need to be clamped. Very easy to move. Just the right thing for photographing stamps etc.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Terrible product DO NOT BUY! - I missed the refund

If I haven't waited to use within 1 month after receipt. I would have known it was a complete piece of junk. Too bad I asked for a refund in time. But that was after the 30-day benefit. It's so flimsy that it's impossible to hold an SLR in it. DO NOT BUY! If your camera weighs more than 0.001 pounds, it won't hold it. The connections can be tightened with the smallest Allen wrench you've ever seen, but it doesn't help hold your camera. Alan's Small Key wears out as it is turned, becoming…

Cheap, heavy and not worth it!

This thing literally broke after I opened it. I attached my camera to it and it buckled under the weight (the DSLR it was supposed to hold). So I tightened it to match the design with the included Allen key and the turnbuckles clicked instantly on both sides. Upon inspection, I'm pretty sure the part in question is NOT plastic, but if it's aluminum, it's the weakest aluminum I've ever come across. Also, "simple" must have a secret second meaning. It's not lead brick or anything, but oh my god…

  • Very good price

Usable but not perfect

I bought this as an alternative to my ball head to use with my flat mount (homemade platypod version). It seemed great right away. I use a Nikon D3400 with a 75-300 lens. After installing it on the plate and camera, I moved it to several stretched positions. It still seemed great. Then I removed the camera and found the first mistake. The 1/4 inch screw for the camera has been loosened. I was able to fix it by unscrewing it from the wheel it was on, applying superglue to some of the bottom…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged
