You you can reset the receiver main receiver and select the single receiver option and select the western arc option and still use two receivers but your secondary receiver does not have the same programs as the main receiver your secondary receiver does not have across all channels/satellites of your main receiver if you have opted for the single receiver configuration with the main receiver.Pathway x2 is a single LNB antenna so it is only looking at one of the three satellites at any given time.The primary receiver only controls the ability of the antenna to switch satellites.The secondary receiver can only access the programs on the satellite elliten access that the primary is currently viewing. If you are on a different satellite your secondary receiver will lose signal and in order to continue watching programs you will need to perform a switch test on the secondary receiver to load a new satellite into the secondary receiver.
