I will return it immediately. I've been using Microplane graters since they became popular 15-20 years ago, so naturally I went back to Microplane when I lost my old trust when I moved. While the blades can unfortunately still be made in the USA, the body of this model is a cheap joke that is clearly made in China. Not only do I use this as a "Chinese product" but the plastic used in this model is cheap thin ugly plastic the likes of which I have rarely seen. Microplane has clearly cut corners to sell more graters.
