They worked until they stopped, and then they tried to set them on fire.
About a year later, after about 6 months, they started to flicker. At first the flickering was difficult to perceive, but then it became annoying. Shortly thereafter, one of their departments burned down inside me. Then, a few days later, I noticed flickering in another device. It didn't go out but tried to burn through the transparent body, luckily started smelling like burnt PCBs and pulled the hazard.
