Review on Nakii Pitcher Replacement Filter NFP 100 by Hunter Schneider

Not as stated on Krug replacement water filter

I don't mind waiting for the water to slowly flow through the filter if that means the water actually smells and tastes like it did after the filter. Which means to me: no smells, bad tastes or "flavors". I got a Nakii jug (and spare filters) to filter tap/drinking water from a kitchen faucet in upstate New York. The first filter in this 3 pack "worked" for only two (2) weeks before the taste (and smell) of chlorine became overwhelming. I wonder what else it doesn't filter effectively? I noticed when I filled the jar and in those two weeks I filled it 15 times. The pitcher holds 7.5 glasses of water; 15 x 7.5 = 112.5 cups, which is about seven (7) gallons of water. Seven! Obviously not even in the same universe as "150" gallons. The original filter that came with it didn't fare much better, by the way: it lasted 27 fills x 7.5 = 202.5 cups = 12.7 gallons before the water tasted noticeably off, especially as far as chlorine goes. I do not recommend this filter system.
