I recently upgraded my old computer and wanted to set up KVM for both of my machines. I got it after a bad experience with Trendnet's 2-port KVM - it was completely dead. Not even one of the indicators lit up. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised that this indicator works well. The hotkey instructions provided aren't very good, but after some experimentation I found that if you press the scroll lock until you hear a beep, you have to simultaneously press the scroll lock + up or down arrow to toggle . Switching is quick. Monitor has very light, *barely* noticeable horizontal stripes when both computers are running; but I use these devices to record music, so I only care about the sound anyway. Also, I run both at a relatively high resolution. I haven't tried lower resolutions because I don't want to deal with hardware troubleshooting. Great product, great price.
