Was purchased to serve as a file storage device for a home computer. While copying files to it after two months of use (562 hours, 120 inclusions), the speed was significantly slower than it was when it was first used. We were able to copy the majority of the material before the disk reached its maximum capacity of 120 gigabytes. During this time, the disk permitted data to be copied in little portions ranging from 3-5 gigabytes each; but, after this point, the operating system stopped seeing it. After performing a restart, the disk was able to be seen once more. The S. M.A. R.T. drive became unplugged as a result of people's attempts to get it working. We were able to get S. M. A. R. T. after copying the data from it, which showed that there were 2829 reassigned sectors and 63958 unstable ones. I used the RMA process to replace the disk, and then I added the new SEAGATE SV35 ST1000VX000 to the RAID 1 array. This album is not one that I would recommend purchasing.
